About Mecca Bingo Bridgewater
The Art Deco style building that hosts the club now was opened in 1936. Architect T. Cecil Howitt, a famous designer renowned for his Art Deco architecture, had designed it.
It was once an Odeon cinema but in 1967 was purchased by Classic Cinemas and renamed, Classic at the point. It was in 1973 that the building was split between a cinema and bingo.
