Kevin and Anita Slater popped along to their local bingo hall, Beacon Bingo in Ilkeston, for a night out in May. They were looking forward to a catch up with friends and a game of bingo, hoping that maybe Lady Luck was going to tap them on the shoulder.
She certainly did that; in fact she pulled up a chair beside them at Beacon Bingo it would seem. The couple landed a jackpot win on the National Bingo game worth £7,000!

Speaking of his win at the club, Kevin said
It was amazing to win but we were both in shock! We’re regulars at the club because it’s so friendly. The atmosphere is great and winning, well that was a bonus and made the night out even better.
We’ve got plans on how to spend the money, first we will be buying a new car and then we’re planning on going away for a few days. Where yet we don’t know, we’re thinking of going somewhere nice and relaxing.
Martin Riley, the manager of Beacon Bingo said
We’re over the moon for Kevin and Anita. To have a winner on the National Bingo Game is special for us, a really great moment.
