Over the last couple of weeks we have noted quite a number of changes to the new player bonus structures at many sites.
We have seen many sites slash their welcome offers and the reason for this is the new tax levied against operators on the free play bonuses that they offer to their players.
On a recent check of site offers we noticed that a lot of the Joy of Bingo brands have amended their welcome package and here we look at just a couple of examples.
Bingo Loft Changes
Previously this site had a £5 minimum deposit set but now this has increased to £10.
Whilst other sites that are powered by the 888/Cassava software have slashed the minimum withdrawal amount for £20 to just £5, Bingo Loft has a minimum withdrawal amount of £10.
As well as the increase in the minimum deposit required, the Stairway to Swag element of the welcome offer appears to have been removed to.
Bingo Street Changes
Much like Bingo Loft, the most noticeable changes that have been made at Bingo Street are:
Minimum deposit amount increased from £5 to £10
Minimum withdrawal amount higher than other brands at £10
We’ve also seen the Signpost extra bonus removed from Bingo Street.
Both of the above sites do offer new players the chance to play free games for three days from the point of registration in the Newbie Room.
This room is open from 7am until 10p daily and gives away a total of £300 in prizes each day. These are made up of bonuses and loyalty points.
As yet we have not got around to looking at sites like Posh, Red Bus and the other sites under the Joy of Bingo hat. Rest assured though, any noticeable changes will be brought to your attention.
