Beacon Bingo Raising Money For CHIPS
Steve will be at the seafront venue to meet customers and staff and raise money for CHIPS, a charity that was created by the gaming industry to help provide wheelchairs for young people with mobility issues.
Cashino and Beacon Bingo have raised over £650,000 for the charity since 2005 and have funded more than 120 wheelchairs. Each of the specialized powered wheelchairs cost nearly £6,500 and are tailor made for each individual child.
The general manager of the Beacon Bingo club in Margate, Graeme Corner, said
We are really excited to welcome Steve to our club. Already the impending visit is creating quite the buzz on social media with many of our patrons and followers being big Eastenders fans.
Steve will be signing autographs and posing for pictures with people and who knows, he might even call a game of bingo for us!
