Bingo, Casino and Slots News

Just a few days ago we looked at the impact of a new tax that was introduced today to the online gambling industry and today, we can tell you of more sites that have removed their no deposit required bonuses.

Previously we’d said about Cozy Games changing all their welcome offers [read more here]  and quite a number of brands have done just the same.

Free Play Bonuses Dropped

The following brands have all dropped their no deposit required bonuses recently:

  • Welcome Bingo
  • Peeps Bingo
  • Good Day Bingo
  • Lucy Bingo

Prior to the change, the bonuses were:

Welcome Bingo – £10 free play and the choice of 300% bingo or 100% casino on first deposit.
Peeps Bingo – £5 free play + 5 free spins and the choice of 300% bingo or 100% casino on first deposit + 25 free spins.
Good Day Bingo – £10 free play and a 500% match bonus + free spins.
Lucy Bingo – £10 free play and a 500% bonus + 25 free spins.

The bonuses are now:

Welcome Bingo – the choice of 300% bingo or 100% casino on first deposit.
Peeps Bingo – the choice of 300% bingo or 100% casino on first deposit + 25 free spins.
Good Day Bingo – a 500% match bonus + 10 free spins on your first deposit.
Lucy Bingo – a 500% bonus + 25 free spins on your first deposit.

Not All Free Play Bonuses Dropped

Whilst the free bingo pages at many portals may now look at little less impressive, we are still seeing brands open with a free play offer available.

Most recently we have seen Bringo Bingo launch, and it currently still has a £5 free play bonus.

Also, the majority of online bingo sites have a free play room available to players and many of these are open for a few days before you make a deposit.

As time passes, and the impact on the loss of these bonuses are seen on bottom lines of operators, we could well see some reintroduced, but only time will tell.
