On 3rd June Sun Bingo are set to attempt to break not one but TWO Guinness World Records at Blackpool Tower. Last month the site ran a competition amongst their players and some of them will be in attendance at the event.
The aim by Sun Bingo is to try and snatch two world records; the first is for the largest set of bingo balls and the second for the largest bingo card.
The latter is currently held by Gala Bingo and created in London on 6th December 2014. The ticket measured 4.98m in length and was 1.99m in width! This company also broke the record for the biggest bingo balls and this was on 18th July 2014 in partnership with MCAC.
Will Sun Bingo Have The Biggest Virtue Fusion Balls?
Sun Bingo is another Virtue Fusion site, the same software used to power Gala Bingo, so is this set to be a clash of the Titans over the coming years as each try to snatch the title back? With a waiting time of 15 weeks for applications for world record attempts, Gala would have to wait a short while.
Rustie Lee and Chico are going to be at the event in Blackpool and there will be 400 Sun Bingo players expected too. Players will be involved in playing two standard 75 ball games and there will be a chance to win up to £30,000 in prizes.
As you would expect, there will be an official adjudicator from the Guinness World Records there who will confirm whether the current records have been broken.
