Craig Parkinson, the man who plays DI Matt Cottan in the TV series Line of Duty, is set to make his debut in a completely different role soon!
On November 16th there is a fundraiser happening at the Marshall Rooms for the Whiteshill Primary School and Craig has volunteered to be the bingo caller!
World’s Scariest Bingo Caller?
Dubbed the ‘scariest man on TV’, the corrupt cop is going to be calling the numbers as an array of prizes are won. These include a table lamp from the film Trainspotters, a half-day at Calcot Manor Spa (with lunch) for two, tickets to the Crazy Bird Comedy Club and a photo shoot.
The event is raising money for the Whiteshill School playground.
The venue for the event, the Marshall Rooms, is run by the famous actor Keith Allen so it looks to be a star studded event.
It’s worth noting that admission is by ticket only and attendees are warned that ‘there will definitely be swearing and humour’.
Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start on Thursday, November 16, and admission is £10. Tickets for the event can be purchased at eventbrite.co.uk and the prize you pay will get you entry into the raffle for the prizes above and bingo cards!
